In my 30’s, living in beautiful Arrowtown, New Zealand. Three offspring aged seventeen, fifteen and thirteen; known here as Number One Son, Pickles and Buttercup.
Got my Fine Arts Degree from Otago Polytechnic's Art School with a major in contemporary jewellery, had a small business since then making jewellery by private commission and for sale in selected galleries. You can see my jewellery in my Gallery pages. I am/was (since Covid-19) an Airbnb Host at my own place and managing some other properties.
In the last few years, after not being a sporty person at all, I’ve taken up CrossFit, then Olympic weightlifting, then powerlifting and strongman. I love these sports. I am grateful for the support of Alpine Health and Fitness and Queenstown Health for a place to train and a functioning body to train with.
